Over the past five years Leander has had sustained population growth of over 20%. In coping with this rate of growth many cities would be forced to impose higher tax rates on its citizens to keep up with infrastructure requirements and increases in city staff and public safety personnel. However, tax rates have remained at relatively the same level over the past nine years due to responsible planning and fiscal responsibility. As Leander continues to grow and mature its citizens deserve experienced, qualified, and proven leadership. Although much has been accomplished in the last nine years, much more still remains to be done. As your current city council member for place four, I would greatly appreciate your support in the upcoming election and look forward to serving the citizens of Leander for the next three years.
